Simon Howick Msoe Miplante

Simon Howick is an experienced operations engineering and facility manager currently employed at Pharmaron since July 2023. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a plant engineer at Sterling Pharma Solutions from March 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included maintenance management for two pharmaceutical production plants and leading a multidisciplinary operational team. Previous positions also include technical sales engineer at AESSEAL, engineer at Phusion IM Ltd, and field service engineer offshore at Dresser-Rand Business. Simon's early career involved engineering technician roles in the Royal Navy, where duties encompassed managing electrical and propulsion systems on various naval vessels, including HMS Lancaster and HMS Bristol. Simon holds an FdEng degree in Marine Systems Engineering from the Defence School of Marine Engineering and the University of Portsmouth, complemented by extensive training at HMS Sultan.
