Genevieve Bertrand began their work experience as a Summer Student at McCarthy Tétrault in 2005 and 2006. Genevieve then worked as an Articling Student at the same company in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Litigation Lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault. In 2012, they joined the Autorité des marchés financiers as an Investigator for Market Manipulation & Insider Trading. In 2013, they became a Counsel at Torys LLP, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Genevieve holds the position of Director - Litigation and Investigations at Pharmascience, starting in 2023.
Genevieve Bertrand obtained a B.C.L/LL.B. degree in Law from McGill University from 2003 to 2007. Genevieve also studied European and International law at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2006. In addition, they earned a B.A. degree in Anthropology from McGill University between 1996 and 2000. Furthermore, they pursued ethnology at Aix-Marseille University in 1998 and 1999.
