David S. is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in epidemiology, biotechnology, and venture capital. David has served as an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington since 1997, specializing in the Department of Epidemiology and the Department of Global Health. Currently, David co-founded Monod Bio, focusing on innovative biosensors for medicine, while also holding advisory and board roles in multiple organizations, including Proteotype Diagnostics, Phase Genomics, and Achieve Partners. David's previous positions include Executive Director at Neoleukin Therapeutics and Director of the Grants Program at Washington Research Foundation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, an MBA from Seattle University, a certificate from UC Berkeley Law in venture finance, and a B.S.N. in Nursing from the University of Washington.
