Davide Piombo

Davide Piombo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software and firmware engineering. Since September 2016, Davide has been a Senior Software/Firmware Engineer at Phase Motion Control S.p.A. Prior to this role, Davide held similar positions at Technoleader srl from January 2011 to August 2016 and at the National Institute for Nuclear Physics as a Technological Researcher from January 2006 to December 2010, focusing on detector development in nuclear physics experiments. Davide has also collaborated externally in various capacities, including Linux kernel porting and system administration, throughout the early 2000s at several institutions, including DIBE Genoa University and Ansaldo Energia S.P.A. Academically, Davide earned a PhD in Electronics, Embedded Systems from Università degli Studi di Genova and a Laurea in Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
