Mohammed al-Wahaibi

Mohammed Al-Wahaibi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the engineering and venture capital sectors. As Co-Founder and Partner at Phaze Ventures since November 2017, Mohammed has played a pivotal role in establishing Oman's first privately owned VC firm, focusing on Energy and Logistics. In addition, Mohammed serves as an Executive Board Member at Assarain Group of Companies, overseeing the property management and construction divisions. Prior to these roles, Mohammed was a Mechanical Engineer at Fluor from April 2012 to April 2016, contributing to EPC projects in the Energy and Chemicals industry and working with advanced mechanical design software. Mohammed holds a degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, following education at The Sultan's School in Oman.
