Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan serves as the Sr Director of Trust & Security for Global Public Safety at Uber since October 2016, where oversight of a global team of over 120 professionals ensures the safety of users while protecting privacy through a strong governance model. Concurrently, since June 2016, Michael functions as a Legal Instructor at the National Computer Forensics Institute, focusing on the ethical acquisition of digital evidence. Michael’s experience also includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Public Corruption Unit of the San Francisco District Attorney's Office from June 2003 to October 2016, specializing in white collar crime and public corruption. Additionally, Michael contributes as a member of the Industry Advisory Board at The Public Health Company since October 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration - Finance from the University of San Francisco, along with a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Georgetown University.
