Jake Swafford

Private Lands Programs Manager at Pheasants Forever

Jake Swafford is an experienced conservation professional with a focus on private lands wildlife management. Currently serving as the Private Lands Programs Manager at Pheasants Forever since March 2012, Jake has also held the positions of Senior Coordinating Wildlife Biologist and Coordinating Wildlife Biologist, where responsibilities included delivering monarch butterfly and pollinator conservation programs, providing technical assistance, program coordination, and policy development. Previously, as a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist, Jake collaborated with landowners and local agencies to implement habitat projects. Prior to joining Pheasants Forever, Jake worked as a Wildlife Resource Aide at the Missouri Department of Conservation. Jake holds Bachelor's degrees in Fisheries and Wildlife, as well as Forestry, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
