Kartik Gupta, Ph.D

Kartik Gupta, Ph.D, has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and biotechnology. Kartik is currently employed as a Scientist II at Pheast Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Weatherwax Biotechnologies as a Scientist II, specializing in Cancer Biology from January 2022 to March 2023, and as a Scientist, Cancer Biology from 2022 to 2022. Their experience also includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Merck from August 2021 to January 2022. Kartik Gupta began their research career as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2014 to February 2021. Kartik also served as an MS Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from July 2012 to July 2014. Additionally, they gained exposure to international research by participating in the DAAD-IIT Master's Exchange Scholarship program at the Technical University of Munich from September 2013 to March 2014. Kartik Gupta, Ph.D, has an extensive education history in the field of biology and biotechnology. Kartik obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from Amity University Noida, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following that, Kartik pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology at the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, where they attended from 2012 to 2014.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Kartik then enrolled in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Kartik completed their doctoral program from 2014 to 2020.
