Sonya Dickson

Sonya Dickson currently serves as an Associate at Phelps Dunbar LLP, a position held since June 2024. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Forman Watkins & Krutz LLP from September 2022 to June 2024, and serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi from August 2021 to September 2022. Sonya also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee in July 2020 and as a Summer Associate with Baker Donelson in June 2020. During law school, Sonya was a Writing Fellow at Mississippi College School of Law from August 2019 to May 2020, and held Summer Associate positions at Watkins & Eager PLLC and Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in 2019. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law obtained in May 2021 and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mississippi College, completed in June 2018.
