Rachael Peters

Director, Secondary Curriculum & Instruction at PHENIX CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Rachael Peters is the current Director of Secondary Curriculum & Instruction at PHENIX CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT. Rachael has been in education since 2003, starting as an Assistant Principal at Central High School. In 2015, they became Principal at Central Freshman Academy where they remained until 2020. Peters has a wealth of experience in curriculum and instructional leadership, professional development, assessment, and continuous improvement. Prior to their career in education, Peters worked as a medical records assistant at Auburn University Veterinary Clinic and as a front desk receptionist and kennel assistant at Brooks and Glass, D.V.M.

Rachael Peters has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Troy University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Wildlife Biology from Auburn University, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Chattahoochee Valley Community College.

Rachael Peters reports to Randy Wilkes, Superintendent. They are on a team with Cheryl Tally - Administrative Assistant, Nathan Walters - Director, Building & Operations, and Joe Blevins - Assistant Superintendent, Operations.
