Allen Freedman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment, governance, and the arts. Currently serving as an Investment Committee Member for The Phi Beta Kappa Society since January 2015, Freedman is the founder of One Riverside Funds, where a focus is placed on global asset allocation and alternative investments. Freedman co-founded the Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc., which addresses audit and governance matters for various entities. Previous roles include Director at StoneMor Partners, Board of Directors member at Opera America, retired Trustee at Eaton Vance Mutual Funds, and Chairman and CEO of Assurant, Inc. Freedman holds an LLB from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA from Tufts University, encompassing studies in history, chemistry, and mathematics.
