Tushar Shankar

Tushar Shankar is the Co-Founder of Phi Commerce Pvt Ltd. Tushar has over 16 years of experience in the payments industry and has previously worked with companies such as ElectraCard Services and Zenith Infotech.

Shankar began their career in 1998 as a Summer Intern at Xerox. Tushar then joined Zenith Infotech as a Solutions Executive, where they were responsible for designing and selling intranet, EIS and DSS solutions.

In May 1999, Shankar joined ElectraCard Services – A MasterCard Company – as Head of Sales & PreSales (Processing Solutions) for South Asia. In this role, they were responsible for levering their understanding of the domain and products to create business solutions for customers and launching new programs for issuing and acquiring.

Shankar has proven expertise in understanding business requirements of customers and translating the same into an innovative and superior business/technical solution. Tushar has played a key role in the success of ElectraCard Services, and their 16 years of experience in the industry make him a valuable asset to Phi Commerce Pvt Ltd.

Tushar Shankar has a Master's in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, and a HSC in P-C-M from Christ Church College, Kanpur. Tushar also attended St. Aloysius' High School.
