Mawghan Elverd has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies.

Starting in 1998, Mawghan worked at the State Library of Western Australia as a Library Technician and Document Delivery personnel until 2007.

In 2007, Mawghan joined the Insurance Commission of Western Australia as a Document Service Officer until 2009.

From 2009 to 2012, Mawghan worked as a Library Technician at Jackson McDonald.

In 2012, Mawghan took on leadership roles at the Australian Law Librarians Association (WA), serving as Vice President until 2013 and as President from 2013 to 2015.

From 2014 to 2015, Mawghan worked at Jackson McDonald as a Senior Librarian. During this role, Mawghan was responsible for reference and research enquiries, training programs, collection development, and maintaining the firm's intranet.

In 2020, Mawghan worked as an Administration Support Officer at the Western Australian Association for Mental Health.

In 2022, Mawghan started working at Welcome Merchant as a Community Engagement personnel.

Finally, in the same year, Mawghan joined PHI Aviation as a Publications Administrator.

From 1999 to 2000, Mawghan attended North Metropolitan TAFE, where they pursued a Diploma in Library and Information Studies.

From 2005 to 2012, Mawghan attended Curtin University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Librarianship and Corporate Information Management.

Most recently, from 2019 to 2020, Mawghan studied at Murdoch University and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Community Development. They specialized in Family and Community Services during this program.
