Laura Simon Treml

Laura Simon Treml is a seasoned professional in the veterinary biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of the Companion Animal Division at Phibro Animal Health since March 2023. With extensive experience, Laura has held various leadership roles including Vice President of Commercial Development at Phibro, Global Lead of Product Development at knoell Animal Health LLC, and Principal Consultant at Argos Biopharma Consulting LLC, among others. Laura's past positions include VP of Drug Development and Senior Director of R&D Immunotherapeutics at Aratana Therapeutics and teaching clinical and research functions at Bayer HealthCare LLC's Animal Health Division. Active in the community, Laura served as Secretary and Board Member for BioKansas and chaired the WiSTEMM Committee at Central Exchange, advocating for women in STEMM fields. Laura's academic credentials include a PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a VMD in veterinary medicine, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
