Anne Barnard has held a variety of roles in the research field. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham. Anne then moved to the University of Cambridge where they worked as a Research Associate from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they began working for Phico Therapeutics Ltd. where they held the roles of Research Director, Research Manager, Molecular Biology Manager, R&D Scientist - Molecular Biology, and Research and Development Scientist.
Anne Barnard completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) between 1993 and 1996. Anne then returned to the University of Cambridge and earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Microbiology, which they completed in 2000.
