Maggie Furr

Maggie Furr is a Laboratory Technician 1 at Phigenics since September 2022. Previously, Maggie served as a Plant Health Intern at Midwest Groundcovers, focusing on soil EC readings and plant health. Additional experience includes working as a Consultant/Project Manager at Illinois Sports Consulting Agency and participating in undergraduate research on Switchgrass germination at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Maggie's early work experience includes positions in various agricultural and customer service roles, such as Activities Crew at Curtis Orchard & Pumpkin Patch, Cashier at Dairy Queen, and Berry Picker at Johnston's Berries. Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021.
