Michael Doyle

VP of Higher Education & Government Sales at Phigenics

Michael Doyle is the current Vice President of Higher Education & Government Sales at Phigenics. Prior to this, they were Vice President and minority owner at Tetra Tech Tesoro, a general contractor performing $80M per year in government and health care construction work.

From January 2002 to December 2006, Doyle was Captain and Facilities & Construction Director at the US Naval Academy. In this role, they managed the facilities program for the 4,300 student, $4.5 billion campus physical plant situated on 2000 acres with 3 million square feet of space. The 100 civilian personnel and 250 contract employees were responsible for planning, budgeting and executing $110M annually in design, construction, maintenance, transportation and utilities services for a campus designated as a National Michael'storic Site with over 2.2 million visitors per year.

Doyle began their career in 1979 as a Facilities, Construction & Contract Management Officer in the US Navy. Michael served in this role for 27 years before transitioning to the private sector.

Michael Doyle has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Masters in Construction Management from Penn State University, and an Executive Management Program from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Michael also has Spanish Language Studies from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Michael is certified by the USGBC in LEED Accredited Professional, NSF International in NSF HACCP (Hazard Analysis for Critical Control Point) for Building Water Systems Manager, and the State of Virginia, North Carolina & Texas in Professional Engineer.

They are on a team with Marty Detmer - VP of Corporate Sales, Brian Flannigan - SVP of Marketing, and Jim Henderson - VP of Corporate Sales. Michael Doyle reports to William McCoy, CTO.
