Dan Gross began their work experience as a columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News in 2004. During their time there, they wrote a widely read entertainment/gossip column, conducting in-depth interviews and breaking national stories. In 2008, they were elected as President of the Newspaper Guild of Greater Philadelphia/Communications Workers of America Local 38010. In this role, they developed and implemented public relations and media relations strategies during a turbulent period of ownership changes and bankruptcy proceedings. In 2013, Gross founded their own company, Gross Communications, where they served as President until 2023. Through their company, they led a successful public relations and communications practice, achieving clients' strategic objectives through campaign planning and execution, media relations, and crisis management. Currently, Gross holds the position of Director of External Communications & Media Relations at Philadelphia Gas Works starting from 2024.
Dan Gross attended Lower Merion High School from 1992 to 1996. Dan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in English and Communications at Temple University from 1997 to 2001.
