Elizabeth Russell

Elizabeth Russell currently serves as Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives at the Philadelphia Art Museum since March 2025. Elizabeth has a diverse background in photography, operating as a Freelance Photographer since 2009 with clients including Cleveland Magazine, Case Western University, and the Philadelphia Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology. Previous roles include Senior Exhibit Developer & Project Manager at Howard+Revis Design, Senior Narrative Strategist at Bluecadet, and various positions in exhibit design and evaluation at notable institutions such as the Erie County Historical Society and the Independence Seaport Museum. Elizabeth holds an MFA in Museum Exhibition Design and Planning and an MFA in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of the Arts, along with a BS in Photography from Kent State University.
