Leah Schare

Leah Schare is an experienced professional in training, candidate engagement, and recruitment, currently serving as the Manager of Training and Upskilling at Philadelphia Works, Inc. since January 2023. Previously, Leah held the position of Candidate Engagement Manager at LaunchCode from February 2021 to January 2023 and managed mentor recruitment at JEVS Human Services from July 2019 to July 2020. Additionally, Leah participated as a PHENND Fellow with AmeriCorps VISTA in 2019. Prior roles include Loans & Member Services Supervisor at Bethpage Federal Credit Union and Development Intern at Edwin Gould Services for Children & Families. Leah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Amsterdam University College.
