Rob Blaber

Rob Blaber, Ph.D., currently serves as the Manager of Scientific Communications Strategy at Philip Morris International, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Rob Blaber was the Associate Director of Scientific Communications at Ferring Pharmaceuticals from July 2012 to December 2021, leading global scientific communication initiatives, managing cross-functional publication plans, and overseeing medical training forums. Rob Blaber has also held positions as a Senior Medical Scientist and Senior European Medical Science Manager, focusing on strategic medical affairs and scientific engagement. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Principal Medical Writer at Medicus International and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at University College London, with research expertise in angiogenesis and lymphocyte migration. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology and a BSc in Biochemistry from Cardiff University.
