Lokesh Choudhary is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of materials and corrosion engineering. Since August 2015, Lokesh has held various positions at Phillips 66, advancing from Associate Engineer to Senior Engineer and currently serving as Chief Engineer. Prior to this, Lokesh worked as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, where material selection guidelines for thiosulfate gold leaching were developed. Lokesh's academic background includes a Ph.D. from Monash University focused on corrosion and electrochemistry, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Early professional experience includes a research assistant role at Monash University, where significant advancements were made in understanding stress corrosion cracking of magnesium alloys and developing protective coatings, as well as an internship at GE that involved innovating a cleaner electrochemical technique for surface treatment of gas turbine alloys.
