Madeline Hinchliffe has a diverse background in sustainability and environmental management. Madeline started their career as an Honors Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, where they conducted research and analysis on water resources. Madeline then moved on to work as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on socioeconomic analysis and drought resiliency in the Rio Grande River Basin.

Madeline also worked as an Environmental Consultant at True Performance Administrators for a brief period before joining LORD Green Real Estate Strategies Inc. (now RE Tech) as a Sustainability Services Manager. In this role, they identified and implemented sustainability objectives and initiatives for clients, leveraging research and analysis to enhance their ESG programs.

After leaving LORD Green Real Estate Strategies, Madeline joined CBRE as an Energy Analyst. Madeline managed the utility data platform and utilities for the entire real estate portfolio, developed long-term sustainability strategies, and collaborated on the development of GHG inventory and SBTi targets.

Most recently, Madeline worked at JLL as a Project Manager, leading sustainability strategy engagements and managing ESG projects from start to finish. Madeline collaborated with clients to create emissions, energy, water, and waste targets and improved ESG reporting and communication.

Currently, Madeline is serving as the Director of Corporate Responsibility at Phillips Edison & Company, where they oversee corporate responsibility initiatives and ensures the company's commitment to sustainability and social impact.

Madeline Hinchliffe holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Oklahoma, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Sustainability from the same university, graduating from 2011 to 2015.
