Sandy Munro

Sandy Munro is the Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development at Phillips Medisize since January 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in pharmaceutical innovation and technology strategy. Prior to this role, Sandy spent over a decade at Vectura Group plc, where contributions included leadership as Senior Vice President and Vice President, overseeing teams focused on inhaled products and nebuliser technology. Earlier positions at Vectura involved directing a large group of scientists dedicated to product and technology development. Sandy's career started at GlaxoSmithKline, holding significant roles in inhaled science and metered-dose inhaler technology development. Sandy holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of East Anglia and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
