Michelle Akua Amoako

Michelle Akua Amoako is a dedicated pharmacy professional with a strong background in both clinical and social media management. Currently serving as an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Intern at University of Ghana Health Services since February 2024, Michelle also holds the position of Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) at Phillips Pharma Group from January 2022. Other roles include Locum Pharmacist at First Light Pharmacy since November 2021, and Social Media Manager at Street Girls Aid since June 2015. Previous experience includes various internships in pharmacy settings, such as at Meditab Pharmacy, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, University of Ghana Hospital, Dinkal Pharmacy, and Nyaho Medical Centre. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from Central University and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Ghana, specializing in Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy.
