Rien van Leeuwen

Rien van Leeuwen is a Senior Scientist with over 20 years of R&D experience in image analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. Currently employed at Philips since 2006, Rien specializes in developing algorithmic solutions for industrial vision and healthcare applications, with a focus on robust architectures and end-to-end solutions. Previously, Rien was a Senior Scientist at Philips Applied Technologies from 2002 to 2006, contributing to the development of image analysis algorithms. Rien earned a PhD in Informatics from the University of Amsterdam and holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
