Andrei Stefan Mihailescu is a seasoned professional in procurement and cost management with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Direct Material Purchasing Manager at PHINIA since July 2023, Andrei specializes in developing supply chain strategies targeting value creation in a standalone company framework. Previously, Andrei held the same position at BorgWarner Inc., where efforts focused on transferring commercial responsibilities to enhance accountability at plant levels. Andrei's career began at Delphi Technologies, progressing through various roles including Total Cost Manager for Diesel Fuel Pumps, and leading projects in cost improvement and category management across multiple production sites globally. Andrei holds an MSc in Market Analysis & Strategy and a BSc in Marketing from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
