Marijke Verbruggen

Marijke Verbruggen began their work experience in 2014 as an intern at Poppunt. In 2016, they worked as a teacher at Sint-Jozefsinstituut Betekom for a few months. From 2013 to 2016, Marijke also held the position of a theater workshop teacher at CC Het Gasthuis. In 2016, they joined Media Markt as a Management Trainee and later became the Department Manager Front-end & Customer Delight. At Media Markt, Marijke worked until March 2022. From April to November 2022, they served as a Teamleader contactcenter at Mediahuis nv. Starting from December 2022, Marijke became an Office & Management Assistant at Bringme and Phished, where they focus on reception tasks and cybersecurity training.

Marijke Verbruggen's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Education from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven. This program specialized in Dutch and History, and they attended from 2009 to 2012. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from KU Leuven, studying from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marijke also obtained a certification as an Animator in het jeugdwerk from Kazou vzw in 2008.
