Drew Garner, SHRM-CP, MHR has over 10 years of Human Resources experience. From 2023 to 2021, they served as the Human Resources Director at SunVena Solar and Human Resources Manager and HR Business Partner at Phobio. At Phobio, they worked with senior leadership to determine staffing needs, accelerated DEI initiatives, reviewed company contracts, oversaw staffing agency relationships, coached hiring managers on best interviewing practices, conducted research on competitive/fair pay, designed a creative talent/recruitment strategy, established an affirmative action program, generated internal savings, reduced company spending through agencies, managed W2, I9, W4, State taxes, background checks, general reporting, and E-verify, and completed 401K and payroll enrollment for all new hires. From 2017 to 2014, they served as the Recruiting Manager at Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Senior Program Manager (Recruitment) and Program Manager (Recruitment) at John Wiley and Sons. At John Wiley and Sons, they conducted research and reporting related to Graduate programs, collaborated with admissions to improve programs, created and hosted live virtual events, created training guide and matched training assessment, developed and led competitor interest training, created marketing emails, and provided employee training/development, call coaching, and customer relationship management training.

Drew Garner, SHRM-CP, MHR obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Central Florida in 2014. Drew then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Resources from the University of Scranton in 2017. In 2019, they obtained their Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) from AIRS, an ADP Company. In 2020, they obtained their SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM. Finally, in 2021, they obtained their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
