Janine Sarti

Janine Sarti, Esq., FACHE, CSSBB has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in legal counsel and leadership roles. Janine is currently serving as the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Phoebe Putney Health System since September 2019. Prior to this, Janine worked at Astria Health as the Chief Legal Officer, where they played a crucial role in the acquisition and growth of the healthcare system in central Washington. Janine was responsible for creating and leading the legal department, handling mergers and acquisitions, financing, and various other legal aspects. Janine also served as the AVP, Assistant General Counsel at Molina Healthcare, Inc., where they managed legal matters for a division of the company and ensured smooth integration of an acquired organization. Before that, they held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Palomar Health, overseeing the legal aspects of the organization's expansion and managing a large-scale project. Janine's earlier experience includes working as the Vice President and General Counsel at St. Luke's Health, where they provided legal guidance and managed the acquisition of a hospital and physician clinics.

Janine Sarti, Esq., FACHE, CSSBB earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1983. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Business and Political Science, specializing in Business Administration and Political Science, at Linfield University in 1978. In 2017, they became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Attorneys.
