Rachel Lombardo

Rachel Lombardo is a Clinical Geneticist at Phoenix Children's since June 2023, specializing in prenatal genetics, fetal care, skeletal dysplasias, and osteogenesis imperfecta. Prior to this role, Lombardo served as Regional Medical Lead and Associate Medical Director for Achondroplasia at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from March 2020 to April 2023. Additional experience includes Associate Director of Global Medical Affairs Learning and Development at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from September 2018 to March 2020, and Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from June 2013 to 2018, where Lombardo held the position of Chief Resident in Genetics. Lombardo obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch between 2009 and 2013.
