Therese Valadez

Therese Valadez has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership positions in several organizations. Therese currently serves as the Divisional Director of Human Resources at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Dignity Health - St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and the Director of Human Resources at Dignity Health Systems Office. Therese was also a Board Member of the Arizona Human Resource Executive Forum, where they contributed to building transformational leaders and enhancing organizational performance. Earlier in their career, Therese held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at the Arizona Department of Health Services and Chief Human Resource Officer at Banner Health. Therese started their career at American Express, where they held various roles, including Vice President of Workplace Transformation and Vice President of Human Resources. Throughout their career, Therese has demonstrated expertise in employee engagement, strategic HR practices, brand strategy, and organizational management.

Therese Valadez completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Westminster University between 1984 and 1991. Therese then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate degree in Business Administration from College of St. Mary from 1978 to 1981. Additionally, Therese has obtained certifications in "How to Crush Self-Doubt and Build Self-Confidence" from LinkedIn in 2021 and "Internal Executive Coach" from the Hudson Institute of Coaching (exact dates not available).
