Jaeson Munro

Jaeson Munro has extensive work experience as a software engineer, with a focus on developing software tools and plugins for various programs. Since 2021, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Phoenix Defense, LLC. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, they held the role of Sr. Software Engineer at ATRIA TECHNOLOGIES, LLC.

From 2012 to 2016, Jaeson Munro worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Productivity Apex Inc., where they specialized in developing software tools for the Synthetic Environment Core (SE Core) program. Jaeson developed standalone tools and plugins, including ones for ESRI Tools and TerraVista, and integrated the Procedural Model Generation Service (PMGS).

Before joining Productivity Apex Inc., Jaeson Munro worked as a Software Developer at Presagis from 2006 to 2012. Jaeson also worked at SAIC from 1999 to 2006 as a Software Engineer, where they developed the representation of Ultra High Resolution Buildings (UHRB) in the One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) project. Jaeson also served as the lead developer for the OneSAF UHRB Editor, a standalone tool written in Java. Additionally, they integrated GPU-based algorithms into OneSAF to improve system performance, demonstrating their proficiency in Java and C++.

Jaeson Munro earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida between 1997 and 1999.
