Kayla B. is a Project Engineer at Phoenix DeVentures, Inc. Kayla previously worked as a Viterbi Research Fellow at Clinical Biomechanics Orthopedics and Sports Outcomes Research Laboratory, where Kayla researched the relationship between hip abduction strength and ball velocity in collegiate baseball pitchers. Kayla also worked as a BDTI R&D Device Engineering Intern at BD, where Kayla developed a tech landscape for resorbable skeletal fixation devices. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Kayla has a strong background in biomechanics and research.
