Amin Bakht

Amin Bakht has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amin is currently working at Phoenix Games as the Head of UA Operations, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the UA creative lead for the same company from January 2021.

Before their work at Phoenix Games, Amin Bakht was an Advisor/Mentor at IGDA Pakistan from July 2018 to July 2021. Amin also worked at BON Games as an Art Lead and UA Specialist from August 2020 to January 2021, where their responsibilities included art direction, recruiting and managing the art department, optimizing game performance, and running test campaigns for user acquisition.

From October 2018 to October 2019, Amin Bakht worked as the Lead 3D Artist at Troll vfx, where they were responsible for pipeline development, lookdev, lighting, shading, texturing, and fur groom. Amin also worked as a Look Development/Lighting/Groom Artist for the same company from October 2015 to October 2018.

In addition, Amin Bakht has held positions as the Director of CG Productions at Voima Graphics from September 2014 to October 2015, as a Freelancer from May 2014 to September 2014, and as a Senior Lighting Artist at Optix Dubai from June 2011 to April 2014.

Amin began their career as a Visual Effects Artist at Pixel Hunters from November 2009 to August 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Lighting/VFX Artist at BlackStone Studios from June 2008 to March 2010, and as a Lighting/VFX Artist at Trango from July 2006 to July 2008, where they primarily worked on lighting, shading, compositing, and occasionally performed SFX, camera tracking, and rotoscoping using tools such as 3ds Max, Vray, Fume fx, After Effects, Boujou, and Photoshop.

Amin Bakht completed a Bachelor of Computer Sciences degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Amin obtained a certification in "An Introduction to Consumer Neuroscience & Neuromarketing" from Coursera in October 2020.
