Cherie Lin

Cherie Lin has a diverse work experience in the gaming and marketing industry.

Cherie is currently working at Phoenix Labs as a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, a role they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Performance Marketing Manager at the same company from January 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Phoenix Labs, Cherie worked at Pocket Gems as an Associate Performance Marketing Manager from April 2021 to January 2022.

Cherie also has experience at Walmart eCommerce, where they worked as an Associate Merchant, Video Games Software from August 2019 to March 2021. In this role, they managed multi-million dollar P&L for video game software and was responsible for account management for major gaming companies such as Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft.

Cherie started their career as the Co-Founder of Cal Women in Gaming & Cal Esports at the University of California, Berkeley, where they established the Cal Esports program and created the Cal Women in Gaming mentorship program. Cherie also served as the President of League of Legends at UC Berkeley (Berkeley Legends), organizing various events and managing a large community of members.

During their time at Blizzard Entertainment and Unity Technologies, Cherie gained experience in esports public relations and digital marketing & public relations, respectively.

Additionally, they worked as a Course Facilitator for the Video Games Culture and Design course at the University of California, Berkeley, where they taught students about the art and impact of games.

Cherie's work experience showcases their expertise in performance marketing, account management, event organization, mentorship, and community management in the gaming industry.

Cherie Lin attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies.
