Frank Lee

With more than 30 years of vehicle development experience, Dr. Lee joined Phoenix in August 2022 as VP of Vehicle Integration. He was most recently VP of Vehicle Integration at Karma Automotive. Prior to joining Karma, Frank was the Chief Engineer for BYD Auto Industry Co in Shenzhen, China and Deputy General Manager at Beiben Trucks Group, also in China. Previously, Dr. Lee held senior positions at Geely Holding Group and Hybride Kinetic Group and had long tenures at General Motors and the Ford Motor Company in Michigan. Dr. Lee earned his BS and MS degrees in Mechanics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from the Ohio State University.
