Mihai Socina

Mihai Socina has a diverse work experience, starting with their role at PHOENIX group as the Domain Head Foundation Services. In this position, they oversee the maintenance and operation of European backbone IT services. Mihai then worked as the Strategic Assistant to the CIO before becoming the Head of IT Demand Management, where they manage a team of 25 employees responsible for business alignment, project management, and portfolio management. Mihai also served as the Head of IT Business Alignment Europe and Senior Manager Program Management during their time at PHOENIX group. Prior to that, they worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate Consultant. Additionally, Mihai held various roles at HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, including Managing Director, Deputy Director, Head of IT development, and Project Manager.

Mihai Socina's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Mihai pursued a degree in Bauingenieur and completed their studies in 2002, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur qualification. Following this, Mihai Socina went on to attend Technische Universität Wien from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of Bauingenieur. Finally, in 2008, they joined Mannheim Business School and successfully completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, which concluded in 2010.
