John Chalmers

John Chalmers, LC, is a product management expert with extensive experience in the lighting and digital sectors. Currently serving as Product Manager at Phoenix Lighting since September 2020, John previously held a similar role at Phoenix Lighting - Ports and Terminals, focusing on LED product development and IoT frameworks. Prior to that, John co-founded Bright Light Systems, leading marketing strategies for high-performance LED solutions between 2010 and February 2019. Earlier career roles include Product Manager positions at Walmart.com, where John managed product vision for diverse categories and developed features for Walmart Music Downloads and Online Photo Center, as well as a role at Walt Disney Internet Group overseeing product development for digital content areas. John Chalmers earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Emory University.
