Dr. Schavon Waggoner

Dr. Schavon Waggoner is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Professional Development at Phoenix Union High School District since July 2016. Waggoner has held various roles, including Director of Educator Effectiveness and Principal at multiple high schools within the district. Responsibilities have included overseeing professional development, managing evaluations for various employee groups, and mentoring administrative teams. Prior to roles in administration, Waggoner taught business education and implemented professional development initiatives. Waggoner holds a Doctorate of Education and multiple degrees in education and business from Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University.
