William Spalding

William Spalding is an experienced technical trainer with a diverse background in the automotive and emergency services fields. Currently serving as a Technical Trainer at PhoenixEV since December 2018, William conducts training on battery electric buses (BEBs) and charging systems, while also providing First Responder training for fire and police departments. This role follows a similar position at Proterra Inc, where training commenced concurrently. Prior to these roles, William spent over 15 years as a Corporate Trainer at KMH Systems, Inc., managing technical training and support for technicians. William's career began in emergency services as a volunteer Firefighter and EMT-I, complemented by hands-on technical experience as a road technician for Clarklift of Cleveland, focusing on the service and repair of forklifts and skid steer loaders. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts in Automotive Diagnostic from Terra State Community College.
