Mariya Kucherenko

Mariya Kucherenko is the current Support Manager at Phonexa. Mariya has over 19 years of experience in the lighting industry and has worked on a variety of projects, both big and small. Mariya is originally from Ukraine and has a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Mariya started their career as a Lighting Project Engineer at YUG-Contract in April 2001. In this role, they were responsible for providing lighting consultation and design services for commercial, institutional, industrial, sport and residential projects. This included generating and reviewing lighting calculations, details, layouts, specifications, shop drawings and photometric test reports. Mariya also created mock-ups for the development of preliminary lighting designs and managed multiple projects from start to finish.

In October 2007, Mariya moved to SMP consulting electrical engineers as a Lighting Designer. In this role, they continued to provide lighting design services for a variety of projects. Mariya also implemented the city lighting strategy with energy efficient/environmentally friendly system in the western region of Ukraine.

Mariya has been with Phonexa since 2012 and currently serves as the Support Manager. In this role, they provide support and training to customers on how to use the Phonexa platform. Mariya also works closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Mariya Kucherenko has a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/Lighting Design from Lviv Polytechnic Institute.

Jacqueline Garcia - Administrative Assistant, Nareh Matevosyan - Administrative Assistant, and Elen Ghazaryan - Administrative Assistant report to Mariya Kucherenko. Their manager is Jeff Schaffer, Chief Operating Officer. They work with Julia Lagun - Office Manager, Viktor Vydiuk - Support Manager.
