Alexei Ikonnikov

General Director, Y. Samoilov Research Institute for Fertilizers & Insectofungicides at PhosAgro

Alexei was born in 1974. He graduated from Balakovo Chemical Technology College with a diploma in Automated Systems Operation. He has two certificates of higher education; one from Povolzhsky Institute of Management named after P.A. Stolypin in Business Management and a second from Saratov State Technical University in Management and Informatics in Technical Systems.

Alexei Ikonnikov started his career at Balakovo Mineral Fertilizers LLC (Saratov Region) in 1999. During his career, he has worked as an energy engineer, Deputy Head of the Technology Department, Head of Production and then Director and Head Engineer of the Balakovo branch of Apatit.

In 2018, he was transferred to the role of Technical Director – Head Engineer at the Cherepovets complex of Apatit.

In July 2019, he was appointed Director of the Volkhov branch of Apatit.
