Stefanie Beale

Stefanie Beale is a highly experienced professional in the field of quantum technology and physics, currently serving as the Quantum Technology Communications Manager at Photonic Inc. since February 2024. Prior to this role, Stefanie worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Keysight Technologies Canada from June 2021 to January 2024, and engaged in extensive research at the Institute for Quantum Computing between May 2016 and October 2023, first as a PhD candidate and then as a Master’s student and Research Assistant, focusing on quantum error correction. Additional research experience includes a position as a Researcher at Quantum Benchmark Inc. from March 2019 to May 2021 and multiple research assistant roles at Acadia University, concentrating on solid-state physics and charge density waves. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Physics (Quantum Information) and a Master’s Degree in Physics (Quantum Information) from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with a second major in Mathematics from Acadia University.
