Sergiy Nazarenko

Sergiy Nazarenko started as a Student Assistant at the Stony Brook University Library before moving on to work as a Wilderness Trip Leader at Birch Trail Camp For Girls. Currently, at Photonics Industries Inc, Sergiy has held various roles such as Laser Engineer, Senior Laser Engineer, Assistant Director of R&D, and currently serves as the Associate Director of R&D. Responsibilities have included leading teams in developing new solid state and fiber-based laser product lines from test-bench through to production, as well as assisting with implementation for new clients through international travel. Sergiy holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stony Brook University.
