Marie-Christine Ferland

Marie-Christine Ferland, MBA, holds extensive experience in leadership roles within the optics and photonics sector. Currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors for Photons Canada/CPIC since June 2018, Ferland has also been a Strategic Planning Committee Member for Advanced Laser Light Source since September 2022 and had a significant role at Photon etc. as the Business Development Director and interim Sales and Marketing Director. Previous positions include General Manager at Optonique and Business Development and Commercialization Manager at INO, where Ferland led initiatives across various technologies and markets. Ferland's expertise is complemented by participation in SPIE's Corporate & Exhibitor Committee and contributions to Écotech Québec as Co-President of the Innovation Committee. Academic credentials include an MBA from Université Laval and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the same institution, complemented by studies at the University of Georgia.
