Jessica Nagro

Jessica Nagro has extensive experience in advocacy, strategic alliances, and public affairs. Their most recent position was as the Deputy Vice President of Advocacy and Strategic Alliances at PhRMA, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Advocacy and Strategic Alliances at PhRMA from January 2021 to April 2022. Jessica also worked as the Director of Advocacy and Strategic Alliances at PhRMA from December 2018 to December 2020. Before joining PhRMA, they worked as the Federal Government Relations and Health Policy Manager at the National Psoriasis Foundation from June 2017 to December 2018. Jessica also served as the Policy & Communications Manager at the Eldercare Workforce Alliance from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Jessica held positions at The New York Community Trust, NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Dialysis Patient Citizens, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Jessica has a solid background in communications, having worked as a Director of Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Dialysis Patient Citizens and in a communications role at the U.S. House of Representatives. Jessica began their career as an Intern at the American Enterprise Institute.

Jessica Nagro received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The George Washington University in the years 2004 to 2008. Jessica also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the year 2006 to 2007 to pursue a General Course in Government, Economics, and International Relations. Furthermore, Jessica Nagro obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Health Policy and Management from New York University in the years 2013 to 2015.
