Jocelyn Ulrich

Jocelyn Ulrich, MPH, has a strong background in policy and research within the pharmaceutical industry. Jocelyn currently holds the position of Vice President of Policy and Research at PhRMA, where they are responsible for shaping the organization's positions on key healthcare policies. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy Vice President of Policy, Research, and Membership at PhRMA.

Before joining PhRMA, Ulrich worked at EMD Serono, Inc. as the Senior Director of Government and Public Affairs. In this role, they oversaw the analysis of legislative and market access policies and advanced the company's positions with government officials. Jocelyn also played a key role in shaping global market access policy priorities within industry trade associations.

Jocelyn also established and led the Investigator-Initiated Research function within Medical Affairs. At Pfizer, Ulrich held various roles, including External Partner Liaison for Global Investigator-Initiated Research and Clinical Research Manager in the Antibacterials/Antifungals/HIV division.

Ulrich's career began in the arts, as they worked as a Young Artist at Dicapo Opera Theater and an Account Executive at Sylvie Bigar Public Relations, where they focused on public relations in the classical music and luxury goods industries.

Jocelyn Ulrich holds a Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Global Public Health, Health Policy, and Management from New York University. Jocelyn also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music from Barnard College and a Master of Music (MM) in Opera Performance from Boston University. Prior to their higher education, Jocelyn attended Wellesley High School. In addition to their academic achievements, they have a certification in Regulatory Affairs from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), which they earned in November 2013.
