Krista Newton

Krista Newton has had a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Krista started their career in 2002 as a Hospice Social Worker at Life Source Hospice before moving to Evercare Hospice in 2005 for the same role. In 2006, Krista joined The Denver Hospice as a Marketing Liaison, and later became the Pediatric Hospice Waiver Program Manager. In 2010, Krista joined Shalom Cares as the Director of Business Development and Director of Provider Partnerships until 2014. Krista then worked briefly as an Account Executive at Summit Community Hospice before joining Physician Health Partners. At Physician Health Partners, Krista has held several roles, starting as a Health Partner Supervisor and progressing to the Manager of Outpatient Care Coordination. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Care Coordination.

Krista Newton obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University in 2000. Krista then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Denver, completing it in 2002. Additionally, Krista has obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
