Katie Ames, MBA HCM

Katie Ames, MBA HCM, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie is currently the Executive Director of National Products - Medicaid at Physician Partners since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Humana for five years, where they held several positions including Associate Director, Community Management and Manager, Community Management. Katie successfully led initiatives to improve health outcomes and promote health equity, collaborating across a matrixed environment and resolving technical and operational issues. Before Humana, they worked at IASIS Healthcare as a Manager from May 2014 to July 2017. Katie also has experience as a Client Liaison at Carnahan Group from October 2012 to May 2014, where they transformed relationships into loyal clients and implemented a new client accountability system. Katie started their career as an Office Manager/Legal Assistant at Anton Castro Law, where they managed customer relationships, created documents, and built relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, Katie worked as a Sales Executive at Cintas Document Management UK Ltd from January 2008 to September 2010, specializing in corporate sales within the healthcare industry. Katie began their professional journey as a Marketing Intern at Harris Regional Hospital, where they planned and executed hospital-wide events and facilitated communication between recruiters and the marketing manager. With their diverse background and experience, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.

Katie Ames, MBA HCM, obtained their Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Saint Leo University. Katie completed their studies from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, General, from Western Carolina University. Katie'sundergraduate degree was completed from 2000 to 2004.
